Statistical Facts

  • There are over 143 million orphans around the world
  • 8.2 million are in Nigeria, mostly living rough on the streets
  • There are 42,000 new orphans per day
  • 60 million go to bed hungry daily
  • 400,000 die from malnutrition yearly

Fundraising is key to the success of the charity. Without funds our aim and objectives cannot be reached. Some of our fundraising activities have included:

  • Hosting a Charity Event
  • Outdoor Fundraising activities

How can you help?

There are many ways you can help The Precious Foundation. You can support us by:

  • One off (by cheque made payable to: 'The Precious Foundation'; or online by debit/credit card ‐ see link below)
  • Regular giving (GIFT AID; please request a gift aid or Standing Order form)
  • By sponsoring a child (email us about this)
  • By sponsoring a programme/project (e.g. education/ health/food) – see our stewardship crowdfunding projects for more information.
  • By volunteering your time to the orphans
  • By volunteering your time and skills to the projects from our UK office/Remote
  • By leaving a legacy in your will (please consult Stewardship at: www.stewardship.org.uk)
  • By telling others about The Precious Foundation
  • By praying daily for The Precious Foundation
